The territory

“Perhaps the Tuscans are not like the oxen, who see everything big, but it is certain that they never have sight of the measure of the world, and the relationships, clear and secret, between men and nature.”Curzio Malaparte

Montespertoli and Sant’Ansano is a place of poignant beauty where man and nature have sought a balance between the rhythm of the seasons and the rationality of agriculture. It is characterized by hills of a reasonable height and rich in boroughs and forests.

It is an uncontaminated area that today has typical rural and wild features whose ancient heritage can be seen in the many castles and medieval villages built on top of the hills.

Tuscan character

If well processed, these give wines of excellent structure and power, long-lived, fragrant, and unabashedly ‘Tuscan’.
